That national development in the field of education is an effort to enlighten the life of the nation and improve the quality of Indonesian people who are faithful, pious, and have noble morals and master science, technology, and art in realizing an advanced, just, prosperous, and civilized society based on Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia.
That
in order to ensure the expansion and equality of access, improvement of quality
and relevance, as well as good governance and accountability of education that
is able to face challenges in accordance with the demands of changes in local,
national, and global life, it is necessary to empower and improve the quality
of teachers and lecturers in a planned, directed, and sustainable manner.
Activities that must be followed by lecturers are attending international seminars organized by educational institutions. It is an extraordinary happiness to be able to attend international seminar activities. It takes time, energy and also a lot of money. Moreover, the level of income is different from one higher education institution to a university at the national level, especially at the international level, the oldest university in the world, namely the University of Bologna.
